The goal is to understand what happens in the first few minutes after a borrower reaches out — and where good leads sometimes fall through the cracks.
Why This Research Exists
Borrowers can raise their hand in many ways. The follow-up workflow is harder to see.
Most mortgage broker websites already have ways for borrowers to raise their hand: Apply Now, Get a Quote, Schedule a Consultation, Contact Us, Get Pre-Qualified, or Request a Call.
But the part that is harder to see from the outside is what happens next.
Does the borrower get an instant response? Does the broker get notified right away? Is follow-up manual or automated? What happens at night, over the weekend, or when the broker is busy? Do leads ever go cold before a real conversation happens?
That is the workflow we are studying.
